Opting out an EPC

If you are the owner or occupier of a property then you can choose to opt out of having EPC data for the property disclosed publicly.

Opting out stops a property’s EPCs from being found using address search on the EPC Register and in published EPC data.

EPCs that have been opted out can still be found on the Register using the certificate number.
